TREE KILLERS!!!

I had to go out this morning to run some errands and when I came back in by a slightly different route, I saw that TREE KILLERS had struck -- probably overnight -- on one edge of my property. Probably drunk, clearly uncaring (nobody left a note apologizing, for example)...

I am heartbroken. That arbovitae was going on 14 years old, doggone it, and it will take YEARS for a new planting to come close to matching the others.

My lawn guy says he figures the car had to be doing at least 40 mph to take the entire tree down and break the trunks from the roots, had to be trying to make a left onto the main street, didn't make it and just plowed into the arbovitae, backed up and drove on.

Whimper... this seriously annoys me... I hope his/her/its/their bumper has half the damage my poor arbovitae has...
