About the security content of QuickTime 7.1.6

I assume that one would patch an existing 7.x version by clicking on the update item in the help menu of Quicktime, as opposed to downloading a whole new program. This is NOT necessarily my recommendation, Murphy's Law still applies, etc.

BTW, I'm using Quicktime 6.5.2, I think, because it's the latest player that runs on Win 98. I don't know whether the mentioned security hole exists in 6.5.2 or not, so I rely on NoScript add-on for FF to protect me. I did check for updates to 6.5.2 and found none as of today 5/2/07 (using its Help menu as mentioned above).
