Default Help! TAPCIS reboots my PC!

Hello, TAPCIS friends!

Have been using TAPCIS for ages and, in the last five years, together with COM/IP. It was painful to see it become obsolete, but am still using it for mail. Sometime last year, I believe after a Windows XP update, TAPCIS would reboot my PC after uploading or downloading. Managed to fix it, but can't remember how! I recently started connecting via ADSL and, on the same day, did a Windows XP Update (but have not updated to SP2). Ever since, TAPCIS usually (but not always) reboots my PC in the middle of downloading or uploading mail (and sometimes my outgoing messages are lost in the process). Any clues as to what might be causing this (and how to fix it!) would be more than appreciated. I don't want to give up on TAPCIS!!!

Best regards, Sylvia
