Round 1615 rolling and total scores
Code:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, we seem to have weathered our first full round after being tossed abruptly out of our comfortable Parlor and out into the cold, cruel Webworld. We've even welcomed back a couple of former Dixonarians! Two players, Chris Carson and Dave Cunningham, guessed rightly that a tragopan is an Asian pheasant, which gave Chris four points and the deal for the upcoming round. Two others, both residents of England--John Barrs and Marijke van Gans--*knew* somehow that a tragopan is an Asian pheasant and were DQs; so did Tim Lodge, who *would* have been a DQ except he's been too busy changing nappies to play this round. (How come people in England know so much about Asian pheasants?) The runners-up, a/k/a "real winners," with three points apiece, are Dave, Tony Abell, Len Goran, and Russ Heimerson. Details, below.
