Is your "his" is referring to me? If so, I am a her. But if you did make
that mistake, I am thrilled. We had a discussion about names some time ago
in the CompuServe TAPCIS forum, and a couple of people said they always
assumed that names ending in "i" were female. My experience, though, has
been that the majority of people seeing my name would assume male.
