[Dixonary] Tapcis gone. <sigh>
For Judy Madnick: I assume that in your message responding to Judy Russell,
you are talking about trying to read your CompuServe Mail by using mail2web. Do you have a classic CompuServe account? If so, in order to use mail2web, you have to set up, in CompuServe, a special mail-only password and you must have a personal alias. Otherwise you cannot access your CompuServe Email with mail2web or any POP3 mail client (Outlook, Eudora, whatever). Did you set up a mail-only password and personal alias? If so, when you tried to use mail2web, did you give it that alias and special password? My experience with mail2web is that you don't need to tell it the POP3 and SMTP information for CompuServe because it already "knows" them. I just type my CompuServe Email address using my personal alias, not my numeric ID, and my mail-only password and it worked. Guerri Yahoo!
