Default [Dixonary] Round 2820 results

Judy Madnick wins the deal by virtue of being the only one to guess the
real def. Otherwise we would have had a 5-way tie.

The dictionary is the English Dialect Dictionary, which has this to say
about the word:

' Maffie ' is derived from hermaphrodite, and signifies a cart on
to which, for the purpose of carting hay or corn, is affixed a contrivance
like the fore-part of a wagon, so that in fact it is neither
cart nor wagon, Haggard Farmer's Year, in Longman's Mag.
