Default [Dixonary] Round 2861 GOFE time for voting

Hi all

After what seems like a long lead-up, we have 13 definitions for our word
GOFE. Please vote for two.

1. The pillory.

2. _rare_ Covfefe.

3. To grumble; to drivel; to mutter.

4. Dessert of frozen berries and fruits.

5. An official approval or endorsement.

6. A cross-stitch embroidery technique.

7. A natural protective coating applied to wood.

8. A design in metallic thread woven into a textile.

9. [Yiddish] (vulgar) A stupid or despicable man or boy.

10. A cramp iron for holding stones together in building.

11. A traditional Korean cylindrical black hat with wide rims.

12. [Movie industry sl.] To run errands; the action of a gofer.

13. An imperfect and faint representation; adumbration; indistinct image.

12 is the only possible real answer, but I suspect the word might be made up so I’ll throw my second vote at #2.

Happy New Year to all!

A tip of the hat to the author of #2 (or perhaps I should say the
submitter; the original author of that word can get something quite
different from my).

But my votes are for #1 (because I have no clue what a pillory is, which
makes it a 100% synonym of gofe for me), and #4 (because it sounds
delicious)

Cheers,
Hugo

To go against the flow, contrarianwise like Hugo, I'll take 3 and 13.

I agree with the consensus that the longer ones are more credible, but I'll deviate from the norm a bit to pick 10 & 12.

Happy New Year to everyone!!!
