[Dixonary] RD 2878: New Word = lake
Yes, I know. Everybody knows what lake means. But I found a usage of the
word in a cryptic crossword that has nothing to do with bodies of water. So I'd like to try it unless I get too many DQs for the SECONDARY definition. So please give me your clever derivations of LAKE (or DQs) as soon as possible. The deadline for definitions is: 11 a.m. EDT and 10 a.m. CDT on Sunday, March 11. (That's the day we start Daylight time in the States so the following might be wrong.) I believe that is 5 p.m. GMT. Elsewhere in the world, do your best to figure it out. Anyone who gets me a definition anywhere near the deadline will be included. I probably won't be able to post until a few hours later anyway. Fingers crossed on this unexpected deal...
