Default [Dixonary] Rnd 2963 - WESAND Definitions

So far, so good. At least I think so.

There are a total of 13 definitions for WESAND, one of which came from a real dictionary. Please vote for two, by public reply to this message, before deadline, which is 7:00 AM EST on Saturday, February 23, 2019, or 4:00 AM PST .

1. [Obs.] A steward or butler.
2. [Arch.] The location at which a chimney, vent pipe,
etc., pierces the roof of a building.
3. [Ger.] A parrying maneuver with a great sword, moving
from low inside to high outside and followed by a stabbing
thrust.
4. [Sc.] Showing old age.
5. _Archaic_ The gullet or throat
6. A marsh or area of land covered by shallow water.
7. [Obs] The doing of something, the fulfilling of a duty -
see feasance
8. A rogue; a sneak-thief.
9. A twilled linen, used for making men's smock-frocks, etc.
10. Gradually becoming flatter.
11. A supernatural (non-human) being.
12. A fuel gas made by forcing steam over hot coke.
13. Ten strikes, or bushels, of oysters. [Prov. Eng.]
