[Dixonary] Round 3034 New Word FEER
Unfortunately I haven't gotten access to my favorite dictionary, the OED,
since I left Hillsdale College in the spring. This word might be ok, but I wouldn't be surprised if I receive a goodly number of DQs because this word looks ripe for Scrabble-play. Send DQs and fanciful defs to be.bene.be (AT) gmail (DOT) com Deadline is December 10th, 06:00 EST, which should be 10:00 GMT "New players are welcome. Don't look up the word, but just send me a fake and fanciful definition of the word." As I am new, feel free to give me advice or correct me if any of this is improper. Re: [Dixonary] Round 3034 New Word FEER
Actually, 6 am EST is 11 am GMT, but other than that the word looks good to me.
(EDT is four hours behind GMT, but we're not on EDT now.) Efrem > On Dec 8, 2019, at 5:02 PM, Benj. Re: [Dixonary] Round 3034 New Word FEER
Upon review of the rules, I spy what seems to be a nad. I will not post it
with the other defs. Now I see the Dan|nad. Well played, sir, and ta for the learning moment. On Mon, 9 Dec 2019 at 11:35, Daniel B. Widdis <widdis (AT) dixonary (DOT) net> wrote: > (n.) Re: [Dixonary] Round 3034 New Word FEER
I suppose I should have been more clear. Yes, I posted that publicly
trying to make a pun... adding "NAD" isn't required but sometimes some of us don't get the joke. But I did follow up immediately with my private def which I hope will make the list.
