He is, but he's on the road using a borrowed computer today and said it might be a day or two before he can get online.

judy, i thought you know him: he has never been off a computer for longer than an hour or two. if this is truly the case today, he is out looking for a particular troll out of england ...

Oh he's online, but hasn't quite made it to the point of posting here. Give him a day or two!

Hi Thees

Long time no see on TapCIS, but you're here on the first day! Good! I've been back in the States for most of two years. How's happy Holland?

Jeff

Hi Heinz

I'm here. I was out of town on my brother's machine, which didn't help with this new web based board, then I came home to my new machine which didn't help much either as I'm still getting used to it. A direct jump from my old Win 95 Tosh to this XP Pro IBM is not trifling.

Anyhew, how's things?

Jeff

Jeff, sure is! So you've left beautiful Scheveningen and the Tribunal? I got an invitation and thought, well, just for old times sake, let's take a look. And I just can't imagine Tapcis without you!

Just explained to somebody else that it must have been 18 years ago when I first logged on - on PcMagnet that is. And then Tapcis, the International section, I believe, section 7? Boy, have things changed - although I still have the 72621,575 Personal Printing Number.

What are you doing these days?

Hi Thees

Thanks much for the kind words. Yup, after 21 years there it became time to come home. I also got thoroughly disgusted with the creeping corruption of the Tribunal, but that's another story. I'm retired, which means I get to play in the mountains (I'm about 100k from Aspen), and drink a lot of good Western Colorado wine. IOW, I'm a lazy sloth, and loving every minute of it<g>

What are you up to these days?

Jeff

Jeff,

Well, taking the risk of being a bore, I still do the very same thing, an independent ICT adviser for advertising and media organizations. So no more lunches at the Park hotel? And the Tribunal still exists? Did you bring, not sure about the name, KC?

But retirement sounds not too bad, especially the wine part. Fortunately there still remain computers to play with <g>.
