[Dixonary] Testing Reply All
Sending a message to the group. I believe that “reply” will go privately to me, while “reply all” will include the group address.
If this test doesn’t work, I’ll put the settings back how they were. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Dixonary" group. Re: [Dixonary] Testing Reply All
As expected, if I click “reply all” the “To” line is populated with both my email address, as well as the group’s address.
Just a plain “Reply” goes only to me. So for definition submittals, “Reply” should reduce Dixons, and people just need to remember to “Reply all” to vote. Does everyone prefer these settings or should I go back to the way it was for a long time? Re: [Dixonary] Testing Reply All
That's what seems to happen when I reply to this message. "Reply" has just your address. "Reply all" adds the group address in the cc field.

Re: [Dixonary] Testing Reply All
Dan,
I like your new settings. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to do that with my email software. What do you use? Re: [Dixonary] Testing Reply All
Or - did you do this for the whole group? Seems like a good idea, unless people forget to send votes to everyone.

Re: [Dixonary] Testing Reply All
This is for the whole group.
I can put it back if everyone hates it. Sent from my iPhone > On Jun 22, 2019, at 12:08 PM, Efrem G Mallach <emallach (AT) verizon (DOT) net> wrote: > > Or - did you do this for the whole group? Re: [Dixonary] Testing Reply All
"Reply all" gives me Dan in both the "to" and "cc" field with Efram, Dan (again!), and Dixonary and the "cc" field. I don't prefer it for voting, but I'll go with the majority.
