I know I have until Sunday, Jan 15th to send my def but I don't know who to
send it to. Last time I hit reply and it went to everyone.

Sorry to be a nuisance, but I just do not remember from years ago when I
used to play.

Thanks for the help,

Frances W.

Rumplestiltskin's slutty sister.

NADar shows a blip from the area of Arlington, Texas, Cap'n!

Oh, that's weird. Don't know what your e-mail client is, but mine
(Thunderbird) shows me the name of the original sender, with e-mail
address, on the "From" line. When I got the message from Tim about the new
word, it showed me his address on the top line. Yours apparently doesn't
reveal that information! Do we have to mention the dealer's address in the
body of word-announcement messages? We seem not to have run into this
before now . . .

Unless the dealer specifies otherwise, players send definitions to the
dealer's usual Email address. I see that someone has given Tim's to you.

How are you reading the messages about the game? Many of us have
messages sent to us by Email, in which case we see address from which
the Email was sent. But I am guessing that you are either playing at
tapcis.com or in the Google Dixonary group.

If you are playing at tapcis.com, supposedly you can click on the name
of the person who wrote the message you're viewing, but I tried that and
it didn't seem to work. You can, however, look up the person in the
Members List (in bar near top of screen). Scroll down to the name you
want, and then as I recall you can click on the name and get a new
screen. In that screen, you'll see the name and underneath there's an
item for "send message". Click the down-pointing triangle next to that
and you can send a message via Email. Note: the other option is to send
a private messsage, but a private message will be posted on the
tapcis.com and the dealer will be expecting Email!

If you are playing in the Google Dixonary group, you have to sign in,
and then while viewing the message announcing the word, you can click
"reply to author" at the bottom.

Disclosure: I have not actually tried either of these methods.

side of the pond: The progress report arrived at 11:27 while the new word
announcement arrived 01:53 - nearly 150 minutes later!! all hail the
