I am on the road. Thus far I cannot get our portable wireless network to
work, so I am using the hotel's computer. This is a test to make sure I can
properly send Email to the group.

You can. But you never did tell us the day/date of the deadline.
Personally, I assumed it was today (despite the fact that it was only a few
hours from when you posted the word) and have already sent you my def.

Others may still be wondering. I know Jim is, because he has posted the
same question.

The message was datestamped 05h43 EST on 28 December, and set a deadline of
19h00 EST.

If that deadline were the same day, 28 December, that would be a deadline of
13h17m, which would be exceedingly short, and we know that Guerri intended
to set "a slightly longer deadline" than usual. So add a day, and we get a
deadline of 37h17m, which is ever so slightly longer than normal.

Conclusion: the deadline is 19h00 EST on 29 December.

Nicely done, Prof. Keating. Worthy of old Sherlock. The real one, not the
steroid-freak, gunsel of current moviedom.

Dodi, I am sorry about forgetting the day for the deadline. I have
corrected that now, but for those still wondering, the deadline for
submitting definitions is Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 7 p.m. EST in
the U.S.

Because I was on the road for a good part of the day, and because I then
struggled to get online, and because I was then involved with friends
and family, I didn't get to the messages telling me about forgetting the
actual day/date until after 9 p.m.

Once again, I am sorry if it has caused problems for anyone.
