View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2262: New word RULLEY

Well, that came as rather a surprise!

The word for this round is

************
* *
* RULLEY *
* *
************

As usual, no indication of capitalisation or otherwise is implied.

New players are welcome. Don't look in a dictionary. If you know the word, let me know soon, by
email (if too many people know it, we'll pick another word).

Think up a creative, intriguing, funny or genuine looking definition that will entice your fellow
players to vote for it. Send it BY EMAIL (not as a public forum message) to me at dixonary AT
siam.co.uk, before the deadline which is 12 noon GMT/UTC on Thursday 8 December. That is probably 7
am in New York and 4 am on the US West Coast, but I'm not guaranteeing that.

Best wishes,
Tim Bourne.

Well, we are finally new grandparents...again. One big surprise, it was not
the expected granddaughter, but a grandson. So much for free health clinics!
Now, the nursery has to be redecorated with boy stuff and exchange all those
baby girl clothes. The birth mom and family all thought it was a hoot to
tell my daughter 12 hrs later when she showed up at their home. She was not
amused, but I guess they could see some humor in doing that. But what do I
care? I'll have a new fishing companion!!

Baby and mom are doing fine, and weighs a light 6 lbs 7 oz., and is 19.5
inches

Thanks to all the well wishers!! Our road trip was uneventful if not a
little long. I'm shocked at how much less gasoline costs here. Sixty cents
per gallon less than California.

A new grandbaby AND cheap gas? Life is good.

seriously, congratulations to one and all. This is a big event. Little
babies are probably the most amazing and wonderful things in the world.

Still made onto the list, though. That's cool! And you probably won't have
to deal.

I am surprised I made it at all. I still don't know which day it is. Hard to
believe it is Thursday already. I no sooner sent it than it appeared on the
voting list. And I thought I was so clever,too!
