Hi all,

I know that this is totally off-topic for this list, but I just have to
share this. I also am not the kind of person who shares much of his
personal life on internet, but, again, I just have to share this.

About a month ago, my son performed at the "X-Factor" concert at his
school. I didn't record it myself, and that was a shame, because it was
a great performance. Luckily, I got a copy from someone else today, so I
was finally able to upload it to YouTube.

Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTgFNA2ANSM if you want to hear
him sing.

Cheers,
Hugo

Thankyou so much for sharing it with us ... you must be very proud of your
Timon. He's great!

Millie

Thanks, Millie!

I am actually proud of both my children, and for lots of other reasons
besides their singing talent. If I ever find a good recording of my
daughter, I'll upload and share that one as well.

Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Judy,

Timon is 14 (15 in February), and Judith is 16.

Ah, another "Judith." But, as you already know, I use "Judy." Still -- great name! LOL!

Yes, I know. And I suspected that Judy derives from Judith.

(But I think we pronounce it quite different from how you would
pronounce it)

Easy question to answer in person; much harder through e-mail.

I went online to see if I could find enough information to write down
the IPA version, but I found something even better:
http://nl.forvo.com/word/judith_jans_leijster/

(I could not find a sample that pronounces only the name Judith, but I'm
sure this will do)

Cheers,
Hugo

Hey, that is very good. He has a lot of stage presence. Seems very
comfortable. The back-up was so minimal it was almost an a capella
performance. Impressive.

Brilliant, Hugo! A nice voice, and good tuning.

Best wishes,
