View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2249 new word - fercost

I usually post on the TAPCIS forum, but it doesn't seem to be
available this morning. I'm afraid this will have to be a short
deadline, as I'm traveling tomorrow afternoon. The word for round 2249
is:

* * * F A R C O S T * * *

Email me fake defs, DQs, etc, no later than noon, EDT, Thursday,
September 20.

An 11 month deadline is at least shorter than the year-plus we've seen
recently. :)

(And yes, I read both corrections. I did find it interesting that your
date works for 2012, though.)

um

sounds like one of those long distance (and therefore more than usually
inaccurate) weatherforecasts

Is stamps (AT) saslgiver (DOT) com the right address? I sent my def to that and it
bounced back.

Anybody know the CORRECT address? It is a moot point now, my def was
never properly sent. Maybe that helps explain the short list. Did
anyone else get their definition email bounced back from
stamps (AT) salsgiver (DOT) com?

Not miffed, just troubleshooting.

No, but although that was the address the original message came from, the one in the text of the
message had two letters transposed, to saslgiver, and that would have caused any messages to that
address to be bounced.

Best wishes,
Tim B.

That IS the correct address, Keith—the one I've got for Mike in my
address book, the one on the list of players I sent around in August
(you got a copy), and the one to which I sent my def (which appears in
Mike's list).

Yes. The transposed one was in my contacts (since fixed) - but i sent
it on to the correct address, and it bounced.

Gremlyns. yay.
