Four other players fell into line behind Johnny Barrs' discerning vote
for #4 to earn extra points; yes, TWAIL (or TWAYLE) is an obsolete word
for a spider's web.
Guerri Stevens' mockery (#2) got as many votes as the dictionary, but
she lucked out: Mike Shefler's sly twilight (#14) and Steve Dixon's hat
or half-hood (#20) each attracted six voters. But Mike was one of those
who zeroed in on the real definition, giving him a total of eight and
the deal.
Chris Carson's and Toni Savage's defs, both describing wooden pegs, were
combined (#18).
