Up until now, if I got an attachment in Gmail and the attachment was a
..pdf file, there would be an option to view or download. Now if I choose
to view the attachment, instead of taking me into Acrobat (or to a
regular online view, Gmail takes me to "Google Documents". I can't find
any way to turn this off.

Guerri
I just download it and then just launch from the downloader (remember to
delete and tidy up)

That's what I did. As I recall, clicking "download" started Acrobat, so
there was never any saved item to clean up.
