If that was all I had to worry about God punishing me for, I'd be in very good shape indeed.

My kids are JHU alumni too :)

Well, kind of. We enrolled them in a Johns Hopkins remote learning math program for gifted kids when we first moved to New Zealand, http://www.jhu.edu/gifted/

We've since found resources for them locally, but it really helped during that first six months.

By the way, you will never believe what the subject of discussion was when I wandered into the office this morning. My Duke-alum boss was all upset over some lacrosse game...

Reading this thread transported me straight back to the Old Taproom. It encourages me to think that there is really life after Compuserve.

As long as there are folks like us around, there's life. And zaniness.

As long as there are folks like us around, there's life. And zaniness. In fact, all of the headlines about the money Hillary is amassing, while assuring us she is not running for President give renewed life and vigor to us here at the VRWC who had been reduced to grumbling about the Maryland Legislature.

As if you wouldn't grumble about Hillary even if she doesn't run, and wouldn't grumble about the Maryland Legislature too!

That doesn't look like a sneer. It looks more like a frog that got voted off the Survivor lily pad.
