Here are 18 definitions for CLARY, one of which is real.

Vote for TWO definitions, as a public forum message (in reply to this
one), before the deadline which is:
8:30 p.m. EDT, Sunday, August 28
12:30 a.m. GMT, Monday, August 29

New players are welcome, even if you didn't enter a definition this
round. Don't look in a dictionary. Full rules, if you're curious, can be
found in the Files area of the Coryphaeus Yahoo group.

Gosh, I don't know what to think about the very-similar 6 and 9. Were they kept separate because one is the "real" definition -- or is Guerri trying to trick us??????

I guess I'll fall for the former and vote for 6 and 9. I'm usually wrong anyhow. LOL!

6 and 9 are the same -- so I'll take them ...

Guerri,

A couple of these look ripe for combination, so I'll cast my vote upon them
both, while keeping my fingers crossed that in doing so I haven't missed the
real minty herb.

6: [Scot.] cautious; timid.

and

9: [Scot.] 1. wary; cautious 2. frightened

Thanks,

Chuck

I cannot resist jumping on the bandwagon, just to see what happens.

6 and 9

Barbara -

What seems to be happening is a rout. If this continues nobody else will
get any votes.

Interesting,

Chuck

Hi Guerri,

Since my head feels as if I had two bottles of both yesterday, I'll vote for

> 4: An elderberry wine.

and

> traditionally used in loving cups.

Best, Hugo

I'm going to stay away from the Scots, and go for two lonely defs that
have so far been ignored:

# 7 and # 18, please.

Russ

I'm going to resist the temptation of the uncombined defs that have drawn so
many votes, assuming they are part of a clever double-bluff. Instead I'll
go for 7 and 10.

Chris

I'll take 9 and 15, which I'm sure is right. Well, almost sure... better make that somewhat sure... ok, not at all sure. It's probably the tricycle instead/

I'm not convinced either of the two timid defs is any more likely to be
the real one than some of the others, so I'll pick one timid (the less
dictionary-like one) and the sensitivity: 6 and 10.
