Although I waited a while, only 15 players submitted definitionss so here
are 16 to decide about: which one is the definition that was submitted by a
dictionary?
Actually the wait was forced upon me, I have been extremely tied up with
family affairs these last couple of days and got to the game as soon as I
was able

Vote for TWO definitions, as a public forum or group message (in reply to
this one), before the deadline..

11:00 pm on Friday, 08 Jul 2011 in the UK
9:00 am on 9 Jul in parts of Oz
6:00 pm on 8 Jul East Coast USA
3:00 pm on 8 Jul West Coast USA

New Players are welcome, even if you didn't submit a definition you may
vote.

Steering away from the fees and abilities, I'll go for the two least
likely:

>
> 16. a chaperon

As it simply can not be a verb or adverb, I confidently misvote for 1
and 7 unless I miscontrued the purpose of the game.

As with Dan, by the process of elimination (but with no logic!!):

<< 2. capable of being used as loan collateral

<< 4. the ability to tolerate soils with high iron content

Since I'm feeling obsolete these days, I'll take 11 and 13

11. [obs.] easily distracted or beguiled; naive

13. [obs.] (of land) capable of supporting cattle; pasturable [_fee_ +
_-able_]

Well, the lower number doesn't make it any easier. After much careful
thought (I think carefully by consulting both entrails and tarot cards),
I'll go with:

> 12. [obs.] illegal; criminal

and

It has to be something utterly unexpected, so I'll stumble towards 1 and 14:

If an insult can be actionable, I suppose the action can be feeable, however feeble the insult was. 8 and 13.
