*I think i erred too far on the side of caution with my deadline.*

So far (with more than half a day to the deadline) i have 18 player
definitions!
Here are the names:
Tim B.
Judy Madnick
Tim Lodge
John Barrs
Dave Cunningham
Mike Harrington
Millie Morgan
Matthew Grieco
Chris Carson
Toni Savage
Mike Shefler
Dick Weltz
Daniel Widdis
Jim Hart
Steve Graham
Guerri Stevens
Paul Keating
Dodi Schultz

Yikes. So, if you sent me a def and your name isn't here, please resend to
thoughtstorms (AT) gmail (DOT) com .....

I think in these cases the dealer has discretion to move up the submission
deadline.
I think i've seen it happen. It is 10:30AM - Central Time (GMT-06:00).
15:30 UTC.
I want to be fair, so if there are no objections i will move the deadline up
a little to:
* 6PM here, that's 23:00 UTC. *
That is 7.5 Hours off, and we have about the usual full complement of
submissions already.
If you see a name missing that you think might need to know the deadline is
moving up,
please let them know or send me their name and email and i will do so.

Thank you, everyone!

On my clock, there's only an hour and a half to go till the deadline you
set.

I'm not "objecting"—it's up to the dealer—but you had already given it
around 48 hours, far in excess of the normal 24-to-36. Seems to me that
adding another six hours, making it about 50 hours is—well, I don't
quite understand why you'd do that. It's highly unusual, in the absence
of some personal emergency. But as I said, it's the dealer's privilege
to set deadlines.

Thank you, Dodi!

(By the way - one more definition came in as I was posting this progress
report.)

I made a sleepy error, and thought I'd set it for midnight (my time) today.
Please disregard, the deadline is back to the original:
*NOON, Central Time (GMT -6) on Saturday, 11 June, 2011.*
Which is about an hour away.

Vote list in about 2, 2.5 hours!!

I am confused. Your original deadline was noon, Central time, on
Saturday the 11th (unless I missed some later message changing the
deadline). I don't know where your "here" is, but the time stamp on your
message as I received it was 11:36 a.m. EDT, which would be 10:36
Central. That's not half a day from the deadline, it's only an hour and
a half!

I made a n00b mistake. I need help with Time Zone Maths.
The deadline is 30 minutes away, and the Vote Post will be out shortly after
that.
I set a deadline of 48 hours, then confused myself.

*Sorry for the confusion!* I hope the deadline in the Vote Post will be
more accurate!
