Well, i added the definition to the list before i saw the crown.

suppose some might comment about the crowning. Not sure if that is an old,

more chance than if it is left off the list.

Speaking of the list, i am compiling it and triple checking for
game-spoiling errors.

Look for the vote email soon!

Well, i'm of an experimental wont. Like i say, it might not get a vote, but
it might.

Anyone that does vote for a crowned def may be displeased that they missed
the crown messages... but like all judges in all TV courtroom dramas: "I'm
going to allow this." [C8

*List coming in about 30 minutes — i'm checking through the rules.*

I meant to add -- as long as Mr. Harrington doesn't submit another def in time. It would be against the rules for one player to have two separate defs in competition.

Well, i'm of an experimental wont. Like i say, it might not get a vote, but it might.

Anyone that does vote for a crowned def may be displeased that they missed the crown messages... but like all judges in all TV courtroom dramas: "I'm going to allow this." [C8

List coming in about 30 minutes — i'm checking through the rules.

Well, i added the definition to the list before i saw the crown.

Which begs a question. Would it be wrong to place the def. in the list? I suppose some might comment about the crowning. Not sure if that is an old, or a dumb question. Seems like some voters might vote for it, certainly more chance than if it is left off the list.

Speaking of the list, i am compiling it and triple checking for game-spoiling errors.

Look for the vote email soon!

Lusk: a species of fish found in the north Atlantic waters which is similar to the sardine.

Hope I made it on time! Mike Harrington

I got one definition, so this must have reached a few of the players, but just to be sure, here it is again!

Here we go! My first deal, thanks for the generous offers of assistance! [C8

The word for round 2208 is

*********************

* *

* LUSK *

* *

*********************

Capitalization is not significant.

New players are welcome. Don't look in a dictionary. If you know the
word, let me know soon, by email (if too many people know it, we'll
pick another word).

Think up your own definition that will entice votes from your fellow players.
Send it BY EMAIL (not as a public forum message) to me at

(I know this falls right close to the hypothetical rapture,
but there should be plenty of us left to carry on!)

Well, I like it. And if it shows up on the list, it has my vote.
