View Full Version : [Dixonary] Round 2204 GAFFLE Results

Tim Lodge

It's an indication of the quality of the defs you all submitted for
GAFFLE that nearly all of them received votes. Two of you guessed
that a GAFFLE is a lever for bending a crossbow or a steel spur for
fighting cocks, Johnny Barrs knew the second meaning and so was DQ.

Millie Morgan drew ahead of the crowd with 5 natural points for her
incoherent speech and drunken rambling (we hadn't noticed, Millie!).
Trailing her as the real winners were Toni Savage, Dodi Schultz, and
Chris Carson.

Over to you once more, Millie. As it's the middle of the night in
Australia, we'll expect a short delay.

I tried posting the rolling scores, but Tapcis.com seems to have disappeared
from the web.

Emphasis on "nearly". It's an indication of the lack of quality of my own
submission that it didn't collect a single vote. :D
