[Dixonary] OT - new google groups

I know most of you get your dixonary postings by email rather than the
Google Groups site. Has anyone else tried the "new google groups" that
appeared for me recently?

When I used it to 'reply to author' a new window popped up with the usual
message-writing interface, but after posting my message the empty window
remained, obscuring most of the main screen. Only way I could get rid of it
was to reload the screen. Anyone else had this problem?

But 'post reply' (which I'm doing now) seems to work OK - the reply box
opens below the original message not in a separate window.

FWIW, after trying the new style a few weeks ago I've reverted to the
old one, which I found much more friendly.

I was quite comfortable with the old one and will probably stick with it
too. Can't see any great advantage for the new one except I like the way it
nests postings, not that that is very relevant in this forum.
