But EST ends at something like 2 a.m. on that date! Do you mean 10 a.m.
*EDT*? Or do you mean *11 *a.m. EDT???

Well, i have fallen from quite a nice start near the top of the rolling
scores to last place. Heh heh. So, in stead of thinking long and hard, i
am just going to blurt out my bluff definition:

*a Soviet era wooden toy, usually hand-carved and traded for necessities. *

You should have at least thought long and hard enough to change the address
on the "To" line. ;)

My second crown. I had my first less than a day. Maybe it will do me some
good.

The question is, do we get one hour back from the one we will lose tomorrow
at 0200 hrs? We figured it would be DT here, not ST. We are wondering if the
deadline will be adjusted.

He meant 10 EDT which would have been 9 EST (rather than the posted 10EST
which would be 11 EDT), so in fact you lose an hour of potential definition
composition time. So don't waste an hour figuring out time zones, and get
your def in! ;)

Just to add to the general confusion about time, here in the UK we
don't start British Summer Time until 02:00 on 27th March. So for the
next couple of weeks, we're going to be SIX hours ahead of EDT.

Are you sure?

As of 2 a.m. Sunday morning, it becomes 3 a.m. here in NYC. But it's
still 7 a.m. there, I think. Isn't that a FOUR-hour difference?

Um,, 4 hours, (they spring forward which reduces the difference if we stay
the same)

Dodi and John

Thanks for spotting my very non-deliberate mistake. Considering I was
professionally trained to deal with that sort of thing, you'd think
I'd be able to get it right. No chance!
