Hi all --

I have not gotten email (I receive digests) from the group since
Saturday. I checked my spam folder and nothing is there.

Any suggestions?

Is Google trying to make me stay away?

This happened to me in January 2009 - I stopped receiving email
digests. The problem turned out to be that some of the digests had
bounced when my email server was down for a while. I must have
contacted the Google Help Centre because I found an archived email
that they had sent me with a link which reactivated emails from
Google.

Nancy's email address isn't bouncing. I've just checked. But it does rather
look as though posts to the group are taking long time to be forwarded as
email. Until it is fixed it may be sensible to go to the group and read
messages there rather than rely on email.

That's an understatement. The rolling scores I was complaining about not
receiving yesterday finally arrived last night. Mike had dispatched it
fairly early in the a.m.

Not a solution for all messages. Rolling scores, for example, is so
distorted at the group site that it's no longer comprehensible (at
least, so it appears to my Firefox, and so it prints as well). In any
event, the problem's apparently fixed—for the moment, anyway. Paul's
message above came through without undue delay.

It's snowing. Again. :-(

If you are still using the traditional view of the Google Groups
website, you can click on Options at top right of the message screen
and select Fixed font, which will make the rolling scores display as
intended. If however you've switched to the new and supposedly
improved view which Google has recently released, then they seem to
have removed that option. Ah - I've just discovered there's a link to
Show Original below the message in new view, which does change the
display to a fixed font, but it also displays the Internet email
header - an unnecessary distraction.

Thanks, Tim! That's good to know. I've saved your tip for use if/when
the e-mail problem occurs again.
