Dear all

this is a general 'heads-up' to all dealers

in the discussion on funny characters Paul said "Like me, you prefer to use
an email interface rather than going to the Google group. But nonetheless I
suggest going there"

Now, I almost always use email client rather than going to googlemail
directly: but two things recently have caused me to use googlemail directly.
(Because we have been travelling and becasue my machine has probably
terminally died)

There is a problem with going directly - google generates adverts based on
text in emails. Sometimes those adverts can destroy the game. For instance,
in round 2148 KILIM anyone who used googlemail directly would have
necessarily had to DQ for there were several adds about kilim carpets.

I am not sure what we can do about this, but maybe after posting the new
word the dealer could log into googlemail and see whether the generated ads
have damaged the game

or does no-one else see the problem?

Or the dealer could send him/herself a google mail before posting the word.
