Here are 17 wonderful, but mostly fake, definitions of aceldama. See if you
can guess the correct one. Submit your votes no later than 7 PM EDT, Tuesday,
November 26.

1. felicitous; delightful.

2. a scalelike structure,

3. a rare tumor affecting fish, notably farmed salmon and trout.

4. a circle dance for men, popular in Bulgaria. The first time a youth
is invited to join in is regarded as his coming of age.

5. the common Norway maple.

6. a chaperone or bodyguard.

8. a Macedonian felt hat with broad brim.
