We have 18 definitions of the wrod STIG, only one of which is true.
Vote for TWO definitions, as a public forum message (in reply to this
one), before the deadline:

19:00 BST on Friday 17th September
18:30 GMT/UTC
20:00 CET
2:00 PM EDT
11:00 AM PDT all on the same day and
05:00 Melbourne time on Saturday 18th

1: dark.

2: a leather flask.

3: a sheet of mica.

4: _Obs._ to start in alarm.

5: [Scots] prepared, ready.

6: a sharp blow to the head.

7: a small brad without a head.

8: a tumultuous, confused rush.

9: non-communicative; resolutely silent.

10: a wooden dowel used to stabilize wood joints.

11: a sterile worker male in a social insect colony.

12: a small mug or cup; a measure of about one gill.

13: in architectural drafting, a point of alignment.

14: mountaineering clip that grips rope when weight is applied.

15: _Colloq._ a burr, esp. one that catches in an animal's fur.

16: a bracket on which a shield was mounted on a Viking longboat.

17: [Real estate] an extra sales bonus paid for the rental of
commercial property at a figure higher than projected.

18: a wart on the face with red hairs growing on it [ON from Stiggatr,
