Our inventive players have concocted all but one of the 19
definitions for ELA presented below for your edification
and entertainment. The remaining definition is, believe it
or not, real.

Please vote for the two you think the best, for some value
(or values) of "good" that seems appropriate to you (such
as plausible, politically correct, embarrassing, witty,
implausible, long, or as chosen by a random number
generator). You can do this whether or not you have not
submitted a definition, and whether or not you have played
before. You're not allowed to vote if you know the right answer.

I find I have to declare myself DQ by a strange coincidence. I hadn't a
clue as to the real meaning until it became apparent this morning through an
online crossword-type game I was playing in which it was one of the clues.

10 and 12 as they are so close in tenor.

None of them look remotely possible to me. Or even totally IMpossible,
which is often the right choice. I guess I'll take the high road--no, I
mean the RIGHT road--and the church high NOTE:

9 in honor of its poetic roots, and 11 for creativity (those boxes should
have a name!)

I'll choose 1 and 19 thanks Paul

Although I find them both unlikely, I find the chance of them both being made up even more so, so
I'll have 10 and 12, please.

Best wishes,
Tim B.

Yes, 10 and 12 are similar which proves that one of them is real or
that both are false. Similarly I am confounded by two kinds of
happiness in 3 and 5, which leaves me with a 17 for I see I am like 7.
My decision making has reached a 9 so it's time for 19.

I'll take the path of the succulent nymph with a vote for 2 and 4

Paul -

I'll take a stab at -

3. a state of supreme happiness

and

10. the highest note in old church music, E, the fourth space in the
treble, sung to the syllable la in the highest hexachord; the highest
pitch of anything

Thanks,

Chuck

I'll take 13 for weirdness and 16 because it sounds plausible.

But there sure was a lot of poetry in this small word. Can't wait to
hear the actual definition because I live in Ela Township, IL.
