Well, the Dictionary scored the most votes again. According to Webster's New
World College Dictionary, GALIMATIAS is indeed meaningless talk; gibberish.
I just can't trick you lot can I? And what a shame Chris forgot to vote ...
despite his spiritual torpor and apathy (which attracted 6 votes) he might
have picked No.9 too, and won the round! Never mind, Chris <grin>
But our winner with 7 unnatural points (and the longest definition I think
I've seen!) is Paul Keating. Congratulations Paul.

Nancy and Dave submitted almost identical amber defs, and were combined.

Over to you, Paul!
Best wishes

Millie

Of all the definitions to need combining, "crystalline amber" does not
spring to mind. As far as I know, it doesn't even exist in nature and
came to me from the ether. Dave, you and I must be psychically
connected in a very weird way. [Cue Twilight Zone theme.]
