It seems my penance for missing a few rounds is to deal round 2127. So
I'd like you all to meet

ERIC

or eric as the case-insensitive may be, so obviously I'm not talking
about Mr Clapton.

I look forward to receiving your definitions by email to jfshart at
gmail dot com.
Deadline: Monday at 1200 UTC, which should be 0800 for you New
Yorkers, 1300 for Londoners, and 10pm for me and Millie. Other times
in other places.

You know the rules: don't look it up but do tell me if you already
know the meaning in case I have to deal another. And if you don't know
the rules check the attached files - it's easy and it's fun.

Jokes generally fall flat when one tries to explain them, but now that the round is well and truly over, you could try Googling for monty python fish licence. That should give you a YouTube link to the fish licence skit, and also the lyrics of the song Eric the Half-a-Bee.

Good heavens, Paul, is one expected to memorize these things? (I'll bet
there are other players who didn't get it either.) I've got the "Monty
Python (Parrot Sketch Not Included)" tape collection, but haven't
watched it in ages.
