Here are 18 fascinating definitions of rottock, only one of which is correct,
of course. Do your best to pick the right one. You get 2 choices. No fair

Saturday, July 30.
1. a dressed and split chicken for roasting or broiling on a spit.

Mike, you said the deadline for voting is "Saturday, July 30."
I assume you did mean Saturday (the 31st), not the 30th (which is Friday).
My completely-at-random guesses on this stumper:
> 7. an offset pawl used in mechanical watches and clocks.
>
and
> 11. a wild, garlic-like European plant of the lily family.

I will guess blindly at numbers 9 and 11:
9. a footless stocking worn as a gaiter; a short connecting pipe.
11. a wild, garlic-like European plant of the lily family.

We're still taking care of a stray dog that ran away from fireworks on July
4. I think she might be obstreperous but won't know until after the round
when I look _that_ word up. And I'll toss in a redhead for good measure.
That's 8 and 13.

I'll try the botanical #6
and the zoological #17
Chromosomes are effectively an animal's operating system and four
genes seems plenty for a Y chromosome which is in effect just a 4-bit
switch set to Beer=Yes Food=Yes Fight=Yes Sex=Yes. The fact that other
mammals have thousands of genes for the same basic purpose is simply
because their chromosomes were designed by Microsoft.
