I've spent the day driving a launch at Henley Regatta, and my job went
on much later than I expected, so apologies for being a bit late
posting the results.
Nearly everyone who submitted a def has voted, and the next deal goes
to Johnny Barrs with 7 unnatural points for his Grecian provost def,
which was fairly similar to, but not sufficiently to combine it with,
the real def, number 16, the Lacedaemonian governor. As our resident
polymath, Johnny got the etymology almost spot on - it does indeed
come from _'armozein_ to fit, settle, regulate. Scott Crom also
guessed the real def. Paul Keating can relax in coveted second place
with 5 votes for his apple/pear/potato pulp.
