Tim Lodge
June 19th, 2010, 03:37 PM
The 2-hour deadline extension produced three more defs, so we have
here a splendid list consiting of 17 definitions of the word ARGOLET.
Vote for TWO definitions, as a public forum message (in reply to this
one), before the deadline, which has to be rather a long one because
of my schedule:

16:30 BST on Monday 21st June, which is
15:30 UTC
17:30 CET
11:30 AM EDT
8:30 AM PDT and
02:30 on Tuesday morning in Melbourne.

New players are welcome, even if you didn't enter a definition this
round. Don't look in a dictionary. Full rules, if you're curious, are
at http://tinyurl.com/ktw5pq

May as well get this over with -- these are really GOOD, so I have no clue!! The only one I can easily omit from consideration is my definition. LOL! I could go with similar definitions, but I think I won't...and will choose two that I simply like:

<< 9: a conical roof used on cylindrical castle towers in medieval
<< France.

<< 16: any of various hairy plants of the Eurasian genus
<< _Anchusa_, having blue or violet flowers grouped on
<< elongated cymes.

Tim -

A nice set of possibilities. How about -

9: a conical roof used on cylindrical castle towers in medieval France.

and

13: a narrow flat braid in a herringbone pattern, used for trimming and
embroidery.

Thanks,

Chuck
