archiving family pics & files online?

I am thinking of using Google Docs and Picasa or using Windows Live Sky Drive I think it's called.
The desire would be to make some files public and some files only accessible to certain member accounts.

Any ideas on pros and cons, or ideas on other archive sites?

Any ideas on pros and cons, or ideas on other archive sites?I've always felt that you get what you pay for on these sorts of sites, particularly when it comes to privacy issues. So I use Smugmug, since it gives me total control over look and feel and privacy.
