It seems I've managed exactly 50 rounds since my last deal. But I'll venture back a few hundred more rounds for inspiration. Consulting the used words list, it seems I dealt IGG in round 1177. But what I did not deal was:

*** IGGRI ***

As usual, capitalization is not significant.

Definitions will be collected until Midnight PDT at the end of Monday, May 4, which is approximately 34 hours from now. (That's 3am EDT, 07:00 UTC/GMT, and 17:00 on Australia's east coast on Tuesday.)

Actually, sometimes it is. I know we discussed this recently. Sometimes,
the real def does turn out to be a proper noun--as, f'r instance, round
2099, when it was the name of a Vedic god.

We could, of course, agree on a no-proper-nouns amendment to the rules,
but as of now, I don't think there is one.

I think there is no conflict between "as usual, is not" and "sometimes is".

Hence the word "usual" as opposed to "always".

I don't think there's any formal process for amending the rules in any case,
which is why we're still playing with the ones with numerous flaws in them,
including (but not limited to) the five-round rolling scores including the
just-completed round. ;)

You (and he) are right. I was wrong.
