I was hoping the author of the dirty wool def would guess the real one
and get me off the hook, but not this time. It has been 3 or 4 months
since my last turn, so I shouldn't complain.

The word for this round shall be

*************
** **
** NIFLE **
** **
*************

or just plain nifle, as you prefer, capitalization being irrelevant.

If you are new to this game and want to play, don't look the word up!
We're on the honor system, here,

Please submit your made-up definitions for nifle to me by email (sort
of like EASYPLEX for you old-timers), NOT in a message to the
board/mailing list.

If you can't see my address conveniently, it is aabell, followed by
the "little snail", followed by good old compuserve (just the last
word, there, not the whole phrase), followed by a period (or dot, if
you prefer) then the letters suggested by sea oh em.

The deadline shall be on Friday, 12 August 2005 at

10:00 AM EDT
7:00 AM PDT
3:00 PM BST
14:00 UTC

Please send DQs as soon as possible. Have fun!

This is my nifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is
my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my
nifle is useless. Without my nifle, I am useless.

So far I have received definitions from John Barrs, Wayne Scott,
Barbara Kryvko, Dan Widdis, Tim Bourne, Dave Cunningham, Chuck Emery,
Tim Lodge, Chris Carson, Lenny Goran, Paul Keating, Mike Shefler, Hugo
Kornelis, Russ Heimerson, Toni Savage, Carolyn Mayer, Scott Crom and
Dodi Schultz. If you submitted a def and your name isn't here, it
either got lost or I've made a mistake. If you HAVEN'T submitted a
def and your name is above, I DEFINITELY made a mistake.

The rest of you have almost 8 hours left to submit a definition.
Well, maybe a hair more...there may be a delay of an hour or two.
