Hi Millie,

What a tough list to choose from!

Hmmm, without any compelling reason, I'll pick 10 and 11.

> 10: A swamp in an upland coastal region

> 11: a colored translucent material used in theatrical lighting

Best, Hugo

2 and 16 as being absolutely wrong!

Millie

This week's incorrect guesses are:

> *5: A cerebroside found in brain tissue and containing fatty acid, sphingosine, and galactose

Too many good options...I'v narrowed it down to nine. LOL! Well, I'll go with the first and the last:

<< 1: a dimple in the cheek, produced by smiling

<< 20: A pectin used for turning clear fruit juices into jellies

I will try the two coatings:

12: a kind of wallpaper coating used in the late 19th century to
impart a sheen to the surface.

and

13: a thin translucent or transparent film used as an edible wrapper
for some foodstuffs.

Hm. Several defs suggest that this could be merely a variant spelling of "gelatin." Would Millie do that to us?

I'm going to assume not.

I'm probably wrong.

So, focusing on the odd ones, of which there are also quite a few, I'll choose:

3: an elaborate and poetic compliment; eulogy; laudation

and

7: digestive enzyme in a bird's crop

Nice list with no really likely suspects. I'll go with the oration and the bandage.

3 and 17.

I'll take two of the gels: 13 and 17.

But all those medical terms got me to thinking: has anyone heard from
Wayne Scott lately?

I would have voted for a llama if there was one.

Failing that, since my iPhone skin is made by the company "Gelaskins" I'll
go with 11 and 13.

(No, my iPhone is not edible.)
