I checked and rechecked my inbox - ended up with a near record low number of entries :(. Which means, you have a really good chance this time at guessing the real def!

4. the spike on the Japanese ball and cup game "Kendama"

5. A rock outcropping on a ski trail.

8. a leather mallet for striking a gong or bell to produce a muted sound.

9. [S. Afr.] a prison or stockade; a securely fenced area.

10. [Lao] an enclosed group of family huts.

11. A preparation from the leaves and seed capsules of the cannabis plant, smoked, chewed, eaten, or infused and drunk to obtain mild euphoria.

OMG. Nearly half the group's missing! If they're mainly US: They're
