This was a confusing round. Not only did I lose track of what day it was a few times, I kept posting the
word as "markey." Among the confusing factors were some e-mail glitches and a totally unnecessary scheudle change
which resulted in two players getting dealer points. Wayne Scott voted twice, for different defintions; I used the most recently posted vote. I got away with only one vote for a combined definition from Webster's 1828 dictionary and
John Barrs.

Judy Madnick and Toni Savage tied with 7 natural points each, but Toni is ahead in the rolling scores, so she
gets the next deal. Sorry, Toni, but you escaped dealing last time by a mere technicality and it's your turn.
(Unless I entered the votes wrong.)

ROFL!! Funny thing is, I was actually DOING "faux-finish" painting yesterday, which is why I used that def! OK-- it looks like the "real" CIS version of the forum is really gone (I get a blank page when I try to go to it... REAL user-friendly on CIS's part!)

So I will post only here, because it's getting really nutso in my mailbox because I subscribe to the coryphaeus Yahoo group, so I'm getting three copies of everything!

I'm still able to get into the old TAPCIS forum as of 3 pm PDT on Monday. I suspect it could be shuttered any time on Tuesday.

Still there. Am reading old Parlor messages in another tab as we speak.

PS like your avatar <g>.

How does one get an avatar? When I click on Options, Edit Avatar, I can't change the option "Don't use an avatar."

That's odd. That's the same menu sequence I go through, but underneath that choice is the option to upload one from my computer.

You pop a message into Requests for Access and get to be a member instead of a registered user. There are some benefits that go along with that, such as the use of avatars and a greatly expanded number of private messages...

You're a member; Mike is a registered user. Members get more benefits, like being able to use avatars.
