The Desktop Publishing Forum (http://desktoppublishingforum.com/bb/) is 20 years old on December 12.
We plan to celebrate for the next week. Please join us — to recall old friends, and to recollect the glory days of CompuServe and the grand battles of desktop publishing, fonts, platforms, and the internet.

That makes me feel positively ancient, as I recall being a sandman in a hot type shop, later worked in cold type (CCI, Quadex UNIX mini-frames) and only later on DTP.
I'll have to go on over and say hello. Thanks!
