Hopefully I haven't screwed up the scores. I guess I'm going to have to take a GMail configuration class. After setting my phone up to get email from my various accounts, GMail is the only one that, after getting messages on the phone, declines to download them to Windows Mail. Grrrr. As a result I had to use Cory's "Insert" function and enter the votes manually. Back to the GMail drawing board.
Anyway, the winner of round 2055 is Mike Shefler, whose definition
"A fool or stooge. (<a minor character in several works of
Oscar Wilde, serving as a victim of ridicule or pranks.)"
earned a natural 7 .
Dodi Schultz takes coveted second place with 6 points.
Guerri Stevens is runner-up with 4 points.
The true definition was 15: "An idler." (OED 2nd), which 2
perceptive players guessed.
