Congratulations on your D0.
I'm finally back on line - I had an emergency Colon Cancer operation while
visiting our daughter in Fort Bragg, California which put me in the
hospital for almost 3 weeks. This was followed several days after I got
out by a fast trip back to the emergency room for chest pain and extreme
shortness of breath. Diagnosis: an embolism (blood clot) in my left lung.
Result: 3 days in ICU :-( .
We have returned to Yuma, our home base, where I will undergo Chemo-therapy
and possibly radiation therapy - there were a number of metastasized nodes.
Oh yes. Let's not have any more complaints about 98 degree weather in the
east. :-) We rejoice here when it gets _down_ to 98. we have ben having
temperatures in the 104-110 degree range for weeks now.
Now, I hope I remember how to play the game in the new format!

Please get well soon. Have you ever had chemo or radiation before?
(I have.)

Don, I am really sorry to hear of your colon cancer and ensuing
treatments. You sound pretty upbeat now, and I hope that things will go
well from now on, in spite of ongoing treatments.
