Many of you guessed that BINTURONG was probably a word from South East
Asia, so you submitted a lot of fake Malay defs. This enabled the
real def, no. 12, the prehensile-tailed civet, to be fairly well
camouflaged among them and gain only two votes. Jim Hart submitted a
def so close to the real one that I combined them.
The next deal goes Dick Weltz with 6 natural points for his Indonesian
sash. Judy Madnick is the lucky runner-up, with a natural 4 for her
token of defiance. Mike Shefler was DQ and sent me a nice picture of
a binturong on one of his stamps. You can learn more than you've ever
wanted to know about the creature, which is also known as the Asian
Bearcat, at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binturong
Take it from here, Dick.
