This was a round where I found out what you-all made of my name! I
understand it to be of Saxon origin but that certainly was not the origin
suggested for BARR by Century Dictionary On-Line who had a definition via
French barrire - to cry as an elephant - as two of you guessed - so I have a
D2

I had a moment of indecision but eventually decided to amalgamate Paul and
Scott's offerings (#15)

Tim Lodge scored 7 and is our next dealer. The real winners are Millie
Morgan and Dave Cunningham with 4 points each

Over to you Tim

Dodi - Actively participating perhaps but voting for a non-existent
def suggests more training may be required.

Dodi

Thanks for pointing out a buglet in my software... I'll not explain the
details except to say that because the Dictionary cannot vote I use those
cells to store other information - but, you are dead right, that fact should
not be printed

True. Further, the votes--even the one for the existing
definition--unaccountably went uncounted. Do we need an
international commission to look into this?

So the USA representative suggests yet another expensive (and unecessary)
interference in the internals of another country. The international
commission had better have a wide-ranging mandate for marijke's dixomat
gives identical results for that round - apart from the misprint that is.
