Judy, no, we walked around the town which looked great, circled the
lake, checked out the great Hyde Museum in Glen Falls and took a look
at the spa facilities in Saratoga Park. We didn't stay in Sartatoga
because the rates now are so expensive due to the racing season.

We were in New Paltz one day for the amazing Mohonk Mountain House and
we stayed in Clonie at a Comfort Inn and had Thai food--very tasty.

Judy, thanks--it was strictly a last minute trip in an attempt to enjoy
some nice weather before this darn heat spell returned--98 degrees in
Hackettstown, NJ today! Regards, Len

Sounds like you had a nice time. Yes, the rates this time of year are ridiculous. Even the Albany hotels take advantage of the racing season.

Did you stay at the Comfort Inn on Central Avenue? If so, you were practically in our backyard. <G> We live off Sand Creek Road, which runs parallel to Central Avenue. You were maybe 2 or 3 miles from us.

Was the Thai food on Wolf Road? We love living near Wolf Road and all the shopping and restaurants, yet where we live you wouldn't know we're so close to so much activity -- a residential area.

Sorry we missed you.

Len, we LOVE Mohonk and have been going there at Christmas time for
several years. Is the spa finished, and did you see it?

I like the skating pavilion, but of course there is no skating at this
time of year.
